    I have been treating her injury and she will hopefully make a full-ish recovery. I have been feeding her extra healthy foods (eggs, onions applesauce) and have been treating her eye with banixx. She seems nomal otherwise than that. Thank you for all of you help I will keep you guys updated!

    I went to the store and bought banixx. It never mentioned on the bottle if it is safe in eyes. Can I use it?

    Okay. So I went to the store and picked up something similar to veteracyn. It is called banixx for chicks. The bottle mentioned that is is safe to use around the eye but never said if it is safe to use in the eye. Should I flush it with this?

    Have you googled her symptoms? Maybe she is sick. It could also be she hurt her leg. I would keep a close eye on her and feed her some really healthy and nutritious food for now (yogurt, oats, fruits and veggies) I have no clue but hopefully she recovers!

    No but I heard that vetrecyn works great. I have separated her from the flock and she is eating but I’m just very concerned about her eye. Will she loose her sight?

    She seems calmer than yesterday. She was down with the other chickens when I found her this morning. Other than her eye she seems alright. I separated her from the other chickens and she ate and drank. I am just really worried about her eye. It does not look good.

    Okay I will separate her from the flock so she can focus on healing. I checked them all over and for some reason it’s only her eye. What should I buy to keep her eye from getting infected? She just started laying eggs but I’m not sure exactly how old she is. Thank you.

    I dabbed her eye with a warm washcloth. Her eye is still in the socket but it is red. Almost like the eyes you see on white bunny’s. Just all red/pink. She is also twitching her break. What can I do to help her?
