Thanks for the read, I think this is slightly different, being a repeat prolapse issue. Turns out mine had an infection from an injury. Hope it doesn't have to go the amputation route.
It might have. Not certain. I'm just hoping to fix him up. I was in contact with a vet, and honestly that couldn't do much more than what I just did. Hopefully he relaxes and drinks his water. Take that back, as I type this, he's eating some grubs i gave him.
Yeah it's only for reproduction. Im guessing here got injured, then infected by the time we saw it, but no signs of pain or anything.

Well, I've managed to perform minor surgery of sorts. This is graphic, but this is what came out.. here is is after. I applied antiseptic and neosporin, and a bandage.
He seems in good spirits. I've added probiotics and electrolytes to his water, and a little low dose aspirin.
