    I have a brooder in the coop. Love it. I have a mama in there so no heat lamp right now, but we could later if needed. I like having them all together, but separate for safety.

    Jersy giant weight

    I have a small flock of black and white jersey giants (15 hens and 2 roos). One noticed some of my hens are a bit skinny and not as plump as the others. A month ago I treated them for worms but haven't seen much improvement. I am curious what is going on here. They are a year old this month...

    Flock of 7 in WA

    Flock of 7 looking for a new home n Spokane, WA. 3 Red Sex Link hens, 3 austrolorp hens, and 1 cuckoo maran roo. Easy keepers. 1 - 2 years old but still laying regularly.

    We have ordered a 10x20 shed for our new chicken coop. We currently have 20 jersey giant chickens that will live in the new coop. We want to incorporate a brooder area for a broody hen to sit on eggs and raise chicks. I can't seem to find out what a good size area for mama and chicks would be...
