    Unhatched Egg Disposal

I have some unhatched eggs that need to be gotten rid of. But a few are like fully formed and it just feels weird to toss them. How do you guys get rid of them?

Bantam has pasty butt, is not walking

She's doing pretty good, I'm not sure how old she is. We got her from a fair last year, she was an adult already then. I'm sorry, but we're dealing with a family thing right now so I'm going to be offline and can't post.

Bantam has pasty butt, is not walking

One of our bantams is not walking. She is sort of scooting around with her wings. She also has pasty butt, which we are going to treat in a few minutes, but she's not using her legs. She can perch, she can move her legs, ( I turned her upside down to examine her pasty butt). When I put my...

Chick peeping 9 days before due hatch!

I got chicks from a farm near us and put them in the incubator. There has been a lot of variety in progress, and this one has started peeping and rocking the egg. This can't be good, right? What should I do?

    June Hatch-A-Long

I've got peeping, over a week early. Is there a chance it'll be weak, or not fully formed?

    Turkey keeps going limp

No, I'm sorry there's no pictures from February. But it was about 5 inches long, 3 inches wide. I don't know if that helps at all.

    Turkey keeps going limp

This is under his left wing, it used to be in his chest, or more of it is in his chest, but his whole body is really messed up, so I'm not sure which it is. I can look more thouroughly, I'll just put gloves on.

    Turkey keeps going limp

There's no sores, but I did get some pictures, but they're pretty gross, I'll only post them if you think you can either handle it or think it would help.

    Repost: Staggered Hatching

I would assume the same, but some look fully formed, and others are just embryos.

    Turkey keeps going limp

He's almost a year old, turns 1 in July, and I think a Bourbon Red, I'm getting confirmation in a minute. I'm not sure what broad-breasted means

    Repost: Staggered Hatching

So a while ago I posted about staggered hatching and I didn't get any replies so I thought I'd try again. So I bought 10 eggs from a local farm, put them in the incubator about a week ago and some are so much further along than others. I only see one that might not hatch, but with the variety...

    Turkey keeps going limp

Ok so my tom has been through some stuff. It started when he was attacked by our dog. I think he should have died then. But my mom stitched him up and kept him in a dog crate for a few days. This was in February, and his wound has still not healed. He got better for a while and was standing...

    Staggered Hatching, Urgent

So I put some eggs in an incubator last week and some are so much further along than others. Like some look like they could hatch within a few days while others just have little embryos forming. I have no problem with a staggered hatch, except these are fertile eggs I got from a local farm so I...

    June Hatch-A-Long

So Cyan, (broody hen, I put eggs under her yesterday), was broody a few days ago, and we don't have any roos, so I got her some fertile eggs from a farm up here in Maine. I put them under her yesterday, and now she won't sit on them. Although I know she at least sits on them at night in the...

    June Hatch-A-Long

I just put some spangled hamburg eggs under my black copper maran, Cyan. It's her first time but hopefully she'll stay on them. She's got food and water, and is separated from the flock. She is so far trying to find a way out, but the eggs were warm when I checked. Good luck with your...
