    Silkie sexing

I will sell them, so I will not be able to take pictures in a month from now. I sell them with a money back guarantee in case they are roosters.

    Silkie sexing

Thank you for the reply. Which of the white ones are boys? And is this based on the wattles? I tried to not include roosters in the pictures, so I took out the ones with obviously big wattles. So compared to some obvious roosters of the same age these wattles are five times smaller.

    Silkie sexing

I think they are 15 weeks or older. I will try to take better pictures tomorrow, it is very hard to hold the chicken and take pictures at the same time.

I would like to know if these 11 Silkies are hens? There are a few I am unsure about. Some are without a crest.

    Maran Cuckoo sexing

They do not get crests nor beards. I think the Cuckoo's are really similar to other Marans.

    Maran Cuckoo sexing

The chickens in the picture are Cuckoo Marans, and are aproxemately 2,5 months old. I am not sure about their sex, my guess is; the one in the back is a rooster and the one in the front is a hen. Could someone confirm this, or am I wrong?

Chicken died, is it a disease? help...

I am fairly new to having chickens and I recently got some ex-factory chickens. I kept them in a quarantine for a while and besides from the poor feather condition they seemed to be doing fine. After a while I introduced them to my existing flock and all went well. This morning I found one of...
