Could someone confirm that this is a rooster so I do not accidentaly end op killing a hen.

I agree, and the one on the far left that’s just showing his back may be a cockerel. Get some pics of him.

These three look like cockerels. Take a better pic of the circled on left.

The one bird in front looks like a black copper Marans cockerel.

The barred bird on the right could be a hen with somewhat worn out plumage.

The white fuzzy one is un-nowable on the pictures provided.
