    Peck injury help needed

My blind hen ventures just a little to far today and fell from the coop. It startled the other girls and she was pecked a few times. She has just a couple of scrapes. Do I do anything for them? (PS - she is molting and looking a bit haggard)

    Help! Sour vs impacted crop?

You mentioned giving her vitamins once before. I have been giving her vitamin water, wondering if there is anything more I can do to help her. I would love it if her sight came back. But after 3 weeks I think it is they way it will be

    Advice needed! Merging flocks

I know we can put a crate inside. A wall is also possible, but would be concerned about the exit or entry when open. (Really a newbie - maybe not something to worry about). The coop is 6foot square. And 4 foot high. With a side area for nesting. Not great photos...hopefully you’ll get the...

    Advice needed! Merging flocks

I do not have a separate coop or run for them. I think we could fashion a run easily enough, but I’m concerned about the night time. Can I let them sleep together?

I have the same thing happening with one of my hens. What is Emerald? I would love for this to turn around, but I fear it’s just going to stay this way for her. 😩

    Help! Sour vs impacted crop?

She really isn’t doing any better. Her vision is not back. The other hens have started really picking on her, which breaks my heart. I have her in a dog crate with food and water. Letting her sleep in the coop at night when the others don’t seem to bother her. The smaller confined area...

    Help! Sour vs impacted crop?

Poisons!? We let the girls out I. Our yard. We have not used anything in our yard in the past 2 years. We have had the hens for a year. The only thing I could think is we have black bark in our yard. I would think that could potentially be toxic, but it has been there longer than the...

    Help! Sour vs impacted crop?

When we move our hand toward her head, she doesn’t move or blink. She is pecking at the air. She uses her beak and extended her next to find “safe spaces” like a wall or a tree to be next to. As well as to find water and food. I don’t have any photos of her eyes, but the appear normal...

    Help! Sour vs impacted crop?

Help! Help! My golden sexlink is about a year old. I believe she has a crop issue. I think that this has been building for a few days (3-4 days). Yesterday she ate a lot, but then distanced herself from the other hens. Not sure if she has been pooping or not. I gave her some water mixed with...

    Broody hen question

I have a 10 month old Barred Rock that is broody. I do not intend on having her hatch any eggs, nor do I have a rooster. Reading through the threads on how to break the behavior I have a question. 1. Is it best to keep her in the coop (nesting/nighttime area) or in the run (yard)? Thanks...

Newbie here with a sick hen - need help! Advice! And links if possible

Also She was vaccinated before we got her as a pullet. I was told that she couldn’t have the coccidiosis since she had been vaccinated. Question - you said 2ml a day. We were giving her 2ml up to 10 every hour when she was taking it on Friday.
