    i live in alaska TONS of bears! we had a curious bear this year, this isnt true of all bears in the lower(more habituated) but bears up here actually just like the corn and if they maul a chicken its a second thought...soooo when one is around we have to pick up the chkn feed pita! just hardware...

    seems like higher protein good but ya got to wonder if theres anything too it. idk just wondered..not that im anti comb! I found it crazy that my hens dropped egg product after switching feed for two days! like a 2% drop in protein was all it took😮touchy birds indeed

    Sounds weird but what kinda pants do you wear!? Do you have dark nail polish or jewerly? I learned from parrots that birds are afraid of some of these things. look through a chkn/birds eye! and yes call to them like a chkn momma! cluck cluck dont chase make them chase YOU!

    Ahhh my hen got these kinda raised white spots developed over a couple months in winter>>i think someone err crapped on her head! and then this happened...finally know what it is! lorde just put coconut oil on it...maybe fungal cream next thanks!

    Still super healthy and growing at 3 weeks now no sign of Mereks! What I have been reading though the incubation period is long with Mereks and I do not consider myself in the clear. So much confusing info online)We DID vaccinate all chicks at one week of age, except one that was vacc. at 2 days...

    Looks daunting giving the vaccine too(u tube video) but in order to save chickies life gotta suck it up. I am thinking you just need ENOUGH SKIN on the neck to pull and get that needle in😬
