Hatching silkies when can I vaccinate for mereks!?

The momma "Probably" carries mereks unfortunately aside from shouldnt have done this, WHEN at what AGE/DAY after hatching do people vaccinate silkies!!?? And seriously if hatcheries wont vaccinate day old silkies why dont they just do it in the egg? (i just read they vaccinate in utero,..err ovum)???? Im poised to vaccinate but not sure its physically possible yet to stick the needle!? When do you vaccinate a silkie chick!

I guess either way i will find out if i really have mereks...BUT in my defense I didnt know she (Flufferknuckle) would hatch THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SILKIE EVER!!!!!!

Looks daunting giving the vaccine too(u tube video) but in order to save chickies life gotta suck it up. I am thinking you just need ENOUGH SKIN on the neck to pull and get that needle in

Yes have been watching but NO Silkie youtube vids sorry just freakin out im gonna maybe try tommorrow.....I just saw a NAKED NECK SILKIE poke its head out from under the hen!!!seriously! my dream chicks!!!! First try at hatching!!!!
