    Cinnamon Queen

I bought this chick frona local pet store/ feed store . There were a few varieties in the large glass rank they were in. I asked for the Americana (Easter eggers) but this one has matured with much different comb, wattle and even body shape than the others. I came across a another picture of a...

Looking for people experienced with wheaten ameraucana mixes to help sex my chicks!

Thank you! Are you fairly sure of this? I am assuming the darkest one with the blue coloring. The other one would be the splash looking one? Light colored with rust spots on shoulders? She or he has been definitely a bold bird and has gone head to head with our other for sure EE rooster. So I...

Do chickens like to sit on peoples lap

I am new to chickens too, but I have 2 or 3 that frequently come sit on my lap and a couple that like my back and or shoulder. Haha, I'm not sure of they do it because they like me or if they feel safe with me or what.

Looking for people experienced with wheaten ameraucana mixes to help sex my chicks!

I have 1 wheaten ameraucana, and 3 olive Eggers from the same breeder. They are wheaten ameraucana and I think maran mix. They have feathered feet and pea combs light slate colored legs. I think I've come the conclusion at least 1 is a blue wheaten cockerel. I'd like confirmation on the others...

    Roos or bossy pullets?

That one is the one I was mostly thinking too. He/she is a jerk! Haha. But is it common for a pullet to stand up to a roo like that? I would think a pullet would back down and most do, but this one does not. But she is sweet with me and all the other chicks, but she is the only one who doesnt...

    Roos or bossy pullets?

Hi folks! I posted here recently and had someone mention that both of these birds looked like pullets. But over the last couple of days the behavior change has made me very suspicious that at least one is a roo maybe both or maybe just fighting for the top of the pecking order. So, I have here a...
