I have the same issue! Mine always head straight to the neighbors, who complain. I have to literally stand and babysit them when I let them out is their run to make sure they don’t go there. We have tons of property too and for some reason they head straight to the neighbors
Yes they seemed to like the food! They have good space but I don’t get home until late when I work sometimes and sadly they haven’t been able to free range as much as they got to in the summer
Here are some photos of my chickens, the feed I bought and a small feeder. Do you think this food will be good? And should I leave their feeder in their run all the time or remove it?
the red one isn’t as big as the two speckled ones.. he’s slimmer
Mine do this too haha. They’ll sneak up on the porch and run at their reflection. I think they think it’s another chicken and they love to stand and look at their selves lol
No they turned out to be roosters so I decided to keep them because I got attached. They’re sweeties.
I will post photos but might not be until tomorrow
I don’t know because I never had chickens before. I got this from a feed store and thought it’s what you’re supposed to feed them. It’s like dry corn. They are roosters.
I noticed my chickens are getting very fat. They’re 7 months now and sadly I can’t let them free range as much as they used to due being back at work, so I usually let them out around 4-5 and they stay out until dark.
I feed them what we call chop.. which is just corn and have been leaving it...
