Overweight chickens

I would cut down the daily intake and give them lots of water with apple cider vinegar so that they can burn of some weight. However some breeds are made to be bigger what breeds do you have?

It's a common misconception, but if you have a feed store for farm animals nearby, they should be able to direct you as to what the proper feed is. I would look for a poultry starter or poultry grower feed.

They are 7 month old roosters so do they need a starter or grower?

If they are really all cockerels, then I would feed a flock raiser type feed rather than a layer feed. Cockerels don't need the extra calcium in layer feed. Brand is less important, protein content usually 18 -20 percent. Purina Flock raiser, pictured in the above post with pictures, is usually easy to find and widely carried. If you can't find that then you can use a start and grow or grower feed, those also do not contain the extra calcium. I use them when the flock raiser is not in stock. Just get them on a good, balanced feed and stop the corn and sunflower seeds except as very occasional treats in small amounts.

Do you not have any hens? Also, make sure you are comparing pictures with other roosters not hens because the roosters are supposed to be bigger. Do you have any pictures? I also have a 7-month-old rooster so I would just like to compare.

This isn't true for my local stores. The employees don't have a clue about what a proper diet is.

No they turned out to be roosters so I decided to keep them because I got attached. They’re sweeties.

I don’t know because I never had chickens before. I got this from a feed store and thought it’s what you’re supposed to feed them. It’s like dry corn. They are roosters.

Ok. Sorry I was rude.
You really do need some chicken feed. Corn and scraps is honestly just dessert and a stick of butter for every meal.

It's probably just fine, once you get them on some feed. Don't do layer feed.

The feeds I mentioned are good for Cockerels and Roosters.
They don't need the Oyster Shells. But could benefit with some Poultry Grit.
