Oh thanks! I'm familiar with that from building gardens. I was planning on doing a full hardware cloth floor on the run on building. it still might be easier given the terrain I'm working with, but maybe an apron will be just as effective?
Well, this is taking a lot longer than I thought! Windows and doors framed. Nest box framed. Now I just need to put in hardware cloth finish the nest box, build a door, and build the interior amenities.
Regarding range extender, I use ubiquiti unifi access points. They use power over wifi which means you only need to run one wire (Sorry this is getting a little high-tech)
Well, I put the Tyvek to ensure long term durability, also to reduce drafts. I put in a total of about 16 square feet of ventilation (there is more around the back that you can't see) not including the door.

Did you really use linoleum or did you use vinyl? I like linoleum because it is a natural product but try to stay away from vinyl due to local and global toxicity concerns.
