I'm thinking foxes. Happened during mid morning and dogs typically leave the bodies after they've played/killed. Right? So if anyone has a pair of blrw or any large fowl hens in the upstate, let me know. Jack refuses to come out of the coop and won't crow. Breaks my heart :-(- Jackie B.

Hey y'all I'm back again! Seeing predators are an issue for y'all as well this summer. My flock of 10 were taken yesterday mid morning. All but my blrw roo. I guess ill look for a couple full grown ladies then get chicks or pullets at Chickenstock. Sigh...- Jackie B.

Got soooooo mad at my guinea girl this morning! Stupid thing blasted out of the front of the coop and proceeded to have melt down that she wasn't by her friends but refused to let me catch her. Oh well she's just gonna have schreech at her friends from the other side of the fence today!- Jackie B.

New to raising Chickens with a flock question...
I have a mixed flock of 15 (JG, EE, D'anvers, Silkie, bantam cochins, frizzles, and guineas) and everyone gets along great. The ones that were raised together tend to stick around each other more which makes me think if yours are all coming same time and same age there really shouldn't be any...- Jackie B.

Got the ultrasound pics yesterday!!!!!And holy cow it's a boy! Still can't believe how, er, much you can see at 12 weeks. Whit Cleveland Blackwell is measuring 13 weeks though so my due date is July 4th. Oh geeze.- Jackie B.
