Hi, yes we redecorate fairly frequently to keep them entertained and they seem to like it. There are also plenty of hiding spots, we even added more to help. How do you use vinegar? We put apple cider vinegar in their water but haven’t heard of any others uses. Thanks

So a few weeks ago we lost 1/5 of the birds from one of our flocks. We were concerned about disease so separated another bird until we knew she was healthy (this was about 4 days). In this time the structure of the flock seemed to breakdown with a lot of fighting occurring. It has been 3 weeks...

UPDATE: We’ve had her separate for about. A day now. She appears to be drinking and pooping completely normally however there is little evidence of her eating. I also forgot to mention that we’ve had issues with this particular bird getting skinny before, but once we moved her away from a male she quickly put on weight. She also happens to be the mother of the bird who died which is concerning.

Hello I’m afraid she has since passed away. We’re currently concerned she had quail disease cuz she has a lot of the symptoms. She was separated with another quail for company so we’re keeping that quail separate and she’s gonna see a vet asap. Hoping im wrong and she doesn’t have it.

We have since noticed this really hard lump on her. Any idea what it could be?

Okay my bird took a turn for the worst this morning and will now no longer stand up and isn’t taking as much sugar water as she was. The vets said they can’t see her and I don’t really know what else to do.

We gave her some sugar water and she took a good amount and is now eating! Will keep an eye on her but looks promising!
