    Well it wasn't the rooster. I found it dead this morning, so something climbed up 6 ft of bird cloth killed the rooster got him to the ground and pulled its head off. The camera unfortunately also died, but before this happened

    Bad News!! Vermin have discovered the chicken feed and seemed to have set up a colony nearby. I'm hesitant to try poison since I have a lot of fox, owls, a neighbors cat or two plus my own chickens finding it. So going to try many and many traps set only at night.     I ended up just using some wire mesh to partition the coop. Hens can still get to a couple egg boxes, broody gets coop to herself. Mesh let's them see each other. I've had 3 of the 6 eggs hatch so far. I'm not sure otherwise, broody won't leave the box or let us peek at what's going on. Just...
