Thank you.. I was thinking this one was probably a cockerel because of the red in the shoulders. There is a little dark one that the tail feather curves like a sickle and I wasn't sure about it.

She isn't eating much so her fecal matter is barely anything. I am going to mix some food with water and try to get her to eat; my peeps (8 week olds)seem to love it and a few of my big hens do so I'm going to try...
Thank you so much for your help. I purchased them from a bin marked pullets at TSC, they were 50 cents each and were marked ameraucana. They seem to be feathering much different than my other hens that are almost 18 months old and a different breed.
I have a broody hen that has become very thin because she would not leave her nest..I now remove her 2x a day and place her in the run or take her and one other hen to the garden to let them scratch and catch bugs but she seems to eat very little. I have also noticed that 2 of my other hens...
I purchased this bird from tractor supply. It is a black sex link and had no black spot on its head. When it reached 4 or 5 weeks old it got a light white spot on its head. Now at about 16 weeks it looks like this...is it a roo or a hen?
