I have a flock of 11 hens. The littlest hen is being singled out and picked on - the other hens chase her and peck at her. I want to separate her but only have one coop/run and coyotes are an issue where I am. She doesn't want to be separated from her flock. Any suggestions?
no nasal discharge. no new additions to coop. plenty of ventilation. Roo is outside with hens all day. No others have this raspy breathing. Today was first day I noticed it. I will send a video tomorrow if it's still a problem.
My handsome 1 1/2 year old roo might be in distress. He is acting normal, but his breathing is raspy. Could it be a respiratory infection and if so, opinions on treating? It's so dry these days I wonder how it could be respiratory, but sure sounds like something is going on with him.

Hello- I picked up this pullet about 8 weeks ago. Any guesses on breed? She’s got quite a crest on her with puffy cheeks. The person selling her had no idea what she is. (She is a pullet, right?)
Originally I just had one that showed symptoms when I got her. I began my Corid in the water. It seemed to spread to about 3 (they are in a flock of about 9) I isolated them all individually so I could tell which of them had it. I treated all of them. (and the others that never showed...
I have done the 1.5 teaspoons per gallon of water for 5 days twice. I have done the .33 cc per pound body weight oral drench method twice for 5 days each time for each bird I have in my flock. Over 8 weeks. Still getting mucus bloody poop. I'm fairly certain the Corid is not working...
This was this morning. About 4 days after last 5 day drench of Corid. I'm really frustrated.
I've treated 2 times with Corid, oral drench. And twice using the drinking water/ Corid solution. Could this be something else besides Coccidia?
