    This is my Polish x Orpington Rooster - he is almost 4 months old. I love the rust cored feathers popping through the black crest. He is starting to crow and it sounds like a squeaker toy that is broken. He loves being talked to and will talk back.

    The polish orpington mixes i got from a person on Craigs List. (And when I said the other 2 are identical I meant to each other - not the one I originally posted - they don’t have combs nearly as developed.). The rest were from the feed store.

    I have several other breeds that are a week younger with way more developed combs - all of which are supposed be 90% chance of being pullets. I really hope I don’t have a bunch of cockerels - I can’t keep roosters here.
