Sorry for not replying! I brought him inside and he made a full recovery. I think he might’ve just sprained it or something. I gave him plenty of food and water and a small makeshift nest to rest in, as well as a very, VERY small amount of ibuprofen if he was clearly in pain as well as b complex...

I will say, the one good thing about having one bird be a lot bigger is he's good at keeping the smaller one warm! They snuggle up to each other lol

Couldn't say-- again, I haven't seen the parents feeding them much, and the only time I've seen was the mom feeding. and I'll try the adding fresh feed thing.... I've just got to wait for mom to be hungry. She's full but the baby's only got one kernel of corn in its crop or so :(

Roundabout 45 minutes away, I think the guy might’ve moved though. I’ll ask him in the morning just in case. I’m just hoping that baby bird is enough incentive for him to come home and feed, but we’ll see.
