    Is there anything you can do to help the severity while they are young? I too am seeing them in Silkies. Both of mine were hatched from quality chicken breeders, so hoping it wasn’t a known genetic breeding. I’m finding homes for mine as I do not want it in my line of chickens.

    Cathy- I’m having the same problem. Valley vet has been on back order forever!!! I am just keeping my chicks inside basement until I can get it. The vaccine doesn’t have to be given in 1 day old chicks just can’t be exposed

    Anybody have any idea what kind of roster this is?

    I’m pretty sure on parent was a purebred silkie as that was what I was suppose to get. I think that a “milkman” rooster must have gotten into the enclosure, resulting in this guy. I guess the real question is, what do you think he’s mixed with? Silkie x (??????)
