    So I have 2 babies I’m trying to sex. I took pictures of their mom and dad too. The dad is New Hampshire and the mom is Americana Easter Egger. The babies are about 10 weeks old. Pictures of mom and dad are at the end.

    What’s wrong with my chicken’s eye?

    We live in Central Indiana period the chickens have a little chicken house and then a chicken run. I have not noticed anyone picking on this chicken in particular. There’s chicken’s eye looks like it is closed all the time.

    I read through the bard rock discussion from 2013 about how they start laying later than other hens but mine aren't even going into the nesting boxes? We got them in March 2021.

    ok, my friend said nothing was added to the bag but she did spray her sunflowers with a pesticide... What do you all think? Should I get her bags of beetles and feed them to my chickens?

    Interesting! I asked my friend if her husband put something in the bag to poison them because if he didn't add anything I think they just get attracted to the pheromones and fall into the bag and then you'd have to kill them when you got rid of them.

    I catch the beetles in containers with cooking oils - then I dump them in with the chickens.

    I put a little cooking oil in a container and put the Japanese beetles into it (shake them off the tree or plant into the container) and then I dump them in the chicken run. They love them.
