    I've got a separate hygrometer, but I didn't calibrate it. In the incubator I filled up a whole pot of water though, so the hygrometer might be wrong.

    It's kind of whitish, and the pip is also in the center of the egg. I don't have a window in the incubator (homemade styrofoam) but I could try and get a picture when I re-fill the water.

    At what humidity does an egg shrink wrap? I opened the incubator thinking no eggs had pipped and the humidity dropped to 35%. 2 eggs were pipped so far. Did I shrink wrap the chicks?
