This rooster was diagnosed with Marek's and was immobile for a week, his left leg can bend normally, but his right seems ... twisted?
He was given steroids, but it didn't help.
I just hope it isn't Marek's and he can be healed.
I don't know what the problem is, I just want to see him walk again.
Last week, I made this post; this is a follow up.
We took him to the vet today, and she said it was Marek's disease, and gave him some steroids.
My mom still believes that this is NOT Marek's, so I don't know that to think. He also didn't show any other sympthoms os Marek's and we havent had...
We did put him in a sling a couple hours ago, and he ate and drank in it, he sometimes moves his tail feathers and I think that when we put him into the sling, I saw his leg twitch.
Isn't he a little too old for that?
We've had it happen to chicks, but isn't it caused by weak leg muscles. We rubbed banded their legs together and they got better.

If I wipe them with a moist cloth, the protective layer is gone, but if I dont...
I didn't know they needed coconut oil, and they were under a broody hen, but we kept them under a powerful lamp once the eggs were open. We opened the eggs to give them oxygen, and these were alive.
Since then, a day later, the right one died in the egg, but we succesfully assisted the left one...
We bought 6 silkie eggs for our broody hen.
24 days later, some chirped in the morning. We checked on them in the evening, but there was nothing. Turns out, 4 out of the 6 died. The remaining two now have a hole drilled in their air sacs, what would be the next step?
We moisturize the...
