Hens laid a small black egg?? What does it mean?

Aloha! I have Black Australorp girls and when I went to gather eggs today I found this small black squishy egg. Photo is of the egg next to one of their normal eggs. None of the girls are showing symptoms of being sick, but one hasn’t been laying for a month and a half now. Anyone else had this...

    Gender and breed??

I have black australorp pullets from Rural King. I’ve identified the other roosters (one being australorp and one being a jersey giant). But this one perplexed me. They are just over 6 weeks now and I thought it to be a rooster, but it’s eyes are different than everyone else.

Is this a black australorp roo???

That does look like a lot of my girls. I’m at least happy that it’s still a more docile breed. We have a small ish backyard but hope to move soon to a bigger area. I love your goats!

Is this a black australorp roo???

Thanks and there are two others like him. He’s just the one the stands out the most between all three that I suspected to be roosters. And oh dear… They are about 4.5 weeks old now and were listed under Black Australorps at Rural King

    Aloha! I’m Lumin!

    (1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I was used to growing up with random chickens, but now since I’ve moved to Indiana I have chosen my first new breed, Black Australorps (2) How many chickens do you have right now I have 10 right now. Rural King sold me 10 pullets...

Is this a black australorp roo???

Hello all, I’m new to this site/forums and new to this breed. I grew up with whatever hens and roosters that would show up. I think this is a rooster as it usually gets up front of the flock of all the ones that look like pullets. Would just like to know for sure.
