Found a weird long poop? in the run

This is something really new to me. Does anyone know what is this and if it's bad? It's long and hard-ish. I tried squishing it.

    Neighbor complaining about roosters crowing

    1. My other neighbor, who has been here for decades, with three roosters says it is legal. We live in an unincorporated area, so even if roosters are not allowed within the city proper, the ordinance won't apply. For noise times, I keep him in the dark from sunset to 10-10:30a. Lately, I've...

    Neighbor complaining about roosters crowing

2nd update: Complaining neighbor wants me to get rid of my silkie roo by this weekend. I offered to put the silkie in a back shed or try a no crow collar (wish I didn't have to), and he said it doesn't matter of the crow is muffled or less frequent because it annoys him and he and his wife...

    Is the bumblefoot getting better?

Yeah, one of the feet was initially worse than the other. I also still have the Vetricyn to spray on. She's been tolerant of the treatment so far and eats the dried mealworms during the Epsom salt soak. Even ate some after I removed the really dark scab. She's almost as heavy as my light Brahma.

    Is the bumblefoot getting better?

Thanks! They're both taken at the same time - one of each foot. Her feet also don't feel hot.

    Is the bumblefoot getting better?

This is my first time dealing with bumblefoot on my Easter Egger's feet, so I'm not sure if it's healing ok. There hasn't been the dark scab for this and the last 3 days checked. However, the feet pads are still pink.

    Neighbor complaining about roosters crowing

An update about the roosters: The complaining neighbor said we get to keep one rooster each. He's actually a nice neighbor. The other day we wanted hello to each other. I will have to figure out which rooster to keep as I think 2-3 of the silkie's children are males. One already started to...

    Neighbor complaining about roosters crowing

I don't know if he eats eggs, as during a neighborhood shindig, the neighbor with 16 chickens told everyone he always has too many eggs and is trying to give them away. In the city, there can be muscle cars, loud techies, etc. As an update, he said we can keep one rooster, but we already only...

    Neighbor complaining about roosters crowing

There's nothing much I can do about the day crowing, although hopefully he will crow less once he's integrated with the standard hens. He has 7 two month old kids, so we'll likely have too many roosters anyway. It's hard to rehome, and putting him in a shelter is a guaranteed euthanasia. My...

    Neighbor complaining about roosters crowing

Technically, the houses here are zoned residential, although the small town is not an incorporated area. Compared to the area's proximity to the city, it's definitely more country. It's more like a bunch of hobby and mini farms. A lot of people here own livestock guardian dogs (like my Great...

    Neighbor complaining about roosters crowing

It is about 6:30a here. So my partner opened the window again last night. I could barely hear my neighbor's roosters crowing and NOT my silkie at 6:00a. His call is distinct from the neighbor's roosters. They don't have silkies. Here is the thing. I live right next to the neighbor with...

    Neighbor complaining about roosters crowing

Ok. I let the silkie rooster out at 8:45a. after eating some breakfast, he started crowing at 9am. I tested closing my windows and his crowing isn't too loud. The complaining neighbor has his windows open and don't understand why he can't close it during the crowing.

    Neighbor complaining about roosters crowing

I checked the noise ordinance times. My silkie roo definitely does not crow during 10p - 8a. We just slept with our bedroom window open last night, too, to double check. "(a)No person shall between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. make, cause, suffer or permit to be made any offensive...

    Neighbor complaining about roosters crowing

I'm in the woodsy part of Santa Cruz, CA. I'm pretty sure roosters are allowed since several others in these mountains own chickens. The complaining neighbor's house is the blue one across the road. Our chicken run is in front of that wooden fence. Our neighbor with roosters right next to us...

    Neighbor complaining about roosters crowing

Mine doesn't even crow early in the morning. The earliest he does it is 30 minutes to 1 hour after it gets light (so right now 7-9am) because I tend to let them out later.

    Neighbor complaining about roosters crowing

One of our neighbors is complaining about loud roosters crowing. We live in a country area where plenty of other people have roosters. Our immediate neighbor has three roosters, while we have one silkie rooster. The complaining neighbor says that the roosters wake them up at night and are...

    Wobbling month old chick

Ok there hasn't been much change with the baby. Still trembling with weather left let. Also, looks like baby sitting with one leg out was just a one time occurrence since baby normally sits like this.
