    Aww. I'm so sorry to hear about your hen passing. The fluid was a light yellow. I guess I will be drawing fluid for a while. She just sleeps alot. Thank you for all your knowledge

    This morning I went to Tractor Supply and purchased 60cc syringe and 18 gauge needle. Extracted 12 Oz. of fluid. She is inside in a large dog crate with a/c. She is still dripping fluid, but she is standing up eating and drinking. I'll check her belly tomorrow to see if she needs emptying again...

    She cannot walk at all. After extensive research, I believe that you are right. I'm going to pick up an 18 gauge needle and 60cc syringe this morning to empty her out. Thank you for your response

    I have an adopted rock. I have had her for a couple of months now. Don't know how old she is but she doesn't lay eggs. I just cleared up vent gleet. Now her belly drags on the ground the little that she can walk. Only 18 months into raising chickens. I do have 3 other chickens doing fine.
