Same had what I thought was a hen magically transform into a Roo as we sold off the other roos. Will he take over the flock now that the others are gone?
So if we removed all the dominate roosters from the pen and just left him. Will he take over the girls in the flock? Since he will be the onloy roo for them now.
Update, after some close calls and really thinking the little one was going to give up it started eating today on its own and drinking water. We did just hatch some baby quail and placed some in with the patient. They are all getting along well and it has definitely given this baby some friends...
