Your post is music to my ears. Time and again, I post regarding using natural methods and the gifts from Mother Nature, like Manuka honey, Terramin clay, activated charcoal and it's mostly met with either silence or retorts or rebuttals that some chemical is the only way to go.
Manuka honey...
Thank you for the clarification and information, and my apologies for the incorrect implied inference. I maintain that Manuka honey will control/relieve symptoms.
I do want to impress the many uses for Manuka honey, viral, bacterial, inflammatory, GI healing and stabilization, etc., ... I...
How is your chicken doing?
Have you ever tried using raw/unpasteurized honey? I have used Manuka honey from Wedderspoon for well over a decade with great success treating wounds, infections, GI issues, inflammation, cancer,... The link will take you to the kind I use. It has a new label now...
I looked up the type of nutri-drench type I use: Grogel, https://www.amazon.com/Grogel-Plus-B-Hatchling-Nutritional-Gel/dp/B07XYPK1SX. Meyer Hatchery sends this with their day-old chicks and I was surprised at how well it worked and how easily the chicks took to it. It comes in powder...
Just to be clear, the honey you have is raw and unpasteurized, right? Is this chicken eating and drinking OK? She would benefit from adding nutri-drench or electrolytes (one example: https://meyerhatchery.com/products/vital-pack-plus-4-oz-meat-birds-ships-with-chick-order). It would help if...
I would definitely also administer the honey orally. If she's not eating well, liquify the honey by adding a little warm water to the honey, then syringe feed.
I'm sorry for all you're dealing with. I personally stay away from chemical (or Big Pharma) medications if at all possible. I've used this Manuka honey for over a decade to address a very long list of issues in my animals, including cancer. It's absolutely top notch for addressing wounds...
Very informative laced with a great sense of humor. My personal favorite is the first one. I follow Chicken Math 101 and as a result, always have room for one more, LOL.
Extremely well planned and executed with careful thought given to the comfort and welfare of the chickens, as well as ease of cleaning and maintenance. If I was a chicken, I would apply to move in immediately!
I would make a paste with terramin clay, apply, wrap, change daily.

I concur with the lancing. Then apply a paste made with terramin clay and wrap the foot. Change daily. The clay has unbelievable healing powers.

In addition to lancing, I would make a paste using terramin clay, apply to the foot and then keep the foot wrapped. Change daily.

I would apply Manuka honey several times a day and add it to soft mash for her to eat.
