I looked up cornish cross and pretty much everything people have told me on this thread is true. Grow too fast, health problems, not for back yard pets etc... sad. thought I would give it a week or so in a small coop surrounded by my 30 chickens then start letting it out days as usual. within 2...- Carolminifarm

Well I am a vegetarian and only eat the eggs from my girls. I dont like the way animals are treated. This chicken obviously never touched the ground, doesnt know how to scratch, or seen the light of day. Was very pale a week ago. Seems cruel.- Carolminifarm

Flocks not integrating
I usually use the let them work it out method. Many wont agree but if one of them gets too mean, they get the hose and I yell 'no'. In the future, just 'no' works. They get snacks 2 or 3 times a day and spread them out in many different spots so no fussing. City folk drop off chickens on me they...- Carolminifarm
