Should day-old chicks have dark legs? I'm talking to a local breeder with no name and this is a picture of one of the day-old chicks she has. Does this look like a good French Black Copper Marans?

This seems to be where the AC people are gathering. I bought AC eggs and incubated them. They hatched on May 29thso 4 weeks old and not even feathered in yet. I am thinking at least 3 roos in the 5 chick group. Their combs are growing really fast. Can I get some opinions please? I will post 1...

I was thinking of having them hatch eggs as well when I decided to buy the eggs. I just think it would be the coolest thing to watch them raise chicks.

They were my first purchased eggs that I incubated. I am still so in love with them! Even the hubby is constantly checking on them to make sure they have the best of everything. He even offered to build a second coop just for them. I'm thinking that may be a great idea.

Silkie 4 acts like a pullet. She never stands tall and is very sweet. She also isn't into having her picture taken!

UPDATE; The Silkies are almost 13 weeks old and one is a confirmed crowing Roo. I still can't be sure the sexes on the others because combs and feathers are confusing. Behavior is also confusing. I will post some pics and hopefully all of you smarter than me can help determine. First one;
