Still giving him the liquid B complex everyday. Definitely not giving up, he seems to be able to stand up on his feet a little more but not standing up straight
So my little Lucky is about the same but not getting any worse. He seems happy and loves swimming. Is it possible he’ll just be a little wobbly but ok?
I don’t want to be too optimistic but I think Lucky has already improved. His leg is still turned in a little but not as bad as it was and he seems a little stronger 😊
I think I’m going to try giving it orally again and if he doesn’t get the whole dose I’ll put the rest on the treats. Not giving up yet, my 9yr old daughter watched him hatch and would be devastated so I’m going to try everything I can
I got the liquid B complex, will it be as effective if I put it on some treats? When I tried to give it orally from a syringe and I don’t think he got the whole dose.
Also, I rubbed the affected joint gently and he didn’t pull away or seem like it was painful. Hoping that is a good sign
Thanks...
I didn’t feel a tendon out of place but I did notice his joint felt like it was locked and thicker than my other ducklings. I’m worried that it’s too late to fix.
What Liquid B complex would you suggest? I was using the vitamin powder that is supposed to be added to water. Thanks for the suggestions, when I get a chance I’m going to check my other duckling’s leg because I wasn’t sure exactly what I was feeling for
Here’s a video and pics of Lucky. I have been limiting his walking and have him swimming several times a day. I also switched his food to one with more niacin and added a supplement to his water. It just seems like the bigger he gets the worse it is…sorry couldn’t get the video to upload, will...
He’s growing great, no problem eating. I was wondering more about wrapping his legs up higher when I take him for a walk(to stabilize). He also seems to have plenty of energy so other than his legs he seems to be doing great
I have a 4week old duckling with leg problems. Lucky was born with the yolk sac still attached, it fell off on its own and seemed to be doing fine. He was good for about 2 weeks, then I noticed he was wobbling a little when he walked. He looked like he was walking on his knees(not sure what you...
