So this was supposed to be a prairie bluebell pullet... I think they lied... Hatched at the end of July, now around 4 months old. I *think* it might be something like a golden-duckwing OEG rooster (??) but figured I'd ask the experts around here instead! I'm outside Philly if anyone is in need...

Does anyone else think he could be a golden-duckwing OEG cockerel cross here? Brown leghorn cross? Because I am completely at a loss as to what he could be at this point at 4 months old??

If you'd be willing to meet around PSU, I'd be game to hand him over. We are looking at colleges for my HS Junior anyway and PSU is on the list, so I could move the visit up if you're game... 👿 temptation level-up!

We are just outside of Philly in MontCo. So chicken math happened again this year... wasn't gonna get anymore since we already have 6 healthy adult hens just over a year old (3 white leghorns, 2 golden comets, 1 RIR; getting 5-6 eggs per day so more than our family of 4 can eat per week) but now...

Thanks! I'll check them out and see if they have room to take him. He's a good enough bird, not aggressive or overly noisy, but is wary of people getting too close. He's just starting to crow more in the mornings so not sure how much longer the neighbors will tolerate him.

Still wondering if anyone would be interested in a 5 month old Easter Egger roo. We have a crow collar on him to turn down his volume but I’m not sure how much longer we can get away with having him before the neighbors complain. Any leads or takers would be appreciated!

Same! I have a beautiful 16 week EE cockerel but can’t keep him because I’m right outside Philly! Trying to find a place for him!

Would anyone on the Eastern/South Eastern side of PA or Western NJ be interested in a 16/17 week old EE cockerel? He’s just started crowing last week at 15/16 weeks and our township doesn’t allow roosters. We have a flock of 10 (9 pullets + roo) outside of Philly and I hate the thought of taking...

I know this is an older thread now, but I’m near La Salle off Cheltenham with 10 chickens. Thought we had 10 all pullets with 2 ISA Browns, 3 White Leghorns, 2 RIR, 2 Golden Comets, and 1 Easter Egger but just found out today the EE is a cockerel! So guess we’ll be down to 9 soon 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️
