Here is "Simba" my 7 month old Roo I hatched this year and keeping. He is so sweet and I love his coloring :) Interesting thing is he was hatched black with yellow chest! So I guess you never know what they will end up like!

What does everyone keep their cochins on in their run and coop? I'm having a heck of a time keeping them clean and dry and foot feathers intact without putting them in wire cages off the ground. These are not for showing but need to stay nice for breeding etc... Pictures would be a bonus ;-)

Wow those are so pretty!! Seeing all the gorgeous colors makes me wish I had a job just to support buying one of every color! They are by far the sweetest chickens I own and if only they loved to be hugged more :P
