    Looking for help. Light Sussex bought unsexed. They are 10 weeks old. The one marked A had a near death experience when it was a few weeks old and I'm not sure if that has affected it's size or maturity at all. any help is appreciated. Thankyou.

    Yeah for whatever reason her beak grows real fast. I had to trim it when it was like 4 weeks old I don't know if that's normal. But yeah good eye Thanks for the tip.

    Purchased as day old female chick from my pet chicken. It's 13 weeks old. Blue laced red Wyandotte. Thanks for any input. It's a beautiful chicken no matter the sex. Also I'm new to chicken keeping.

    Thanks! This is my first time raising and keeping chickens, so I'm learning as I go. But yes the plexiglass was all the way down. Just for the first two weeks. I put a strip of duct tape on it just so they could see there was something there. Haha.
