I Just got 7 silkie chickens, and decided to build my own coop, and add onto current chicken run. The silkies will have their own coop and run. I am planning to use my current run as an established wall. I had no plans to follow, just what was in my head.

I have noticed recently as the weather has gotten warmer that wasp, and other Bees etc are making there way into the coop. I have placed hardware cloth over vents. Now my plan is to place screen over top to prevent these guys from coming into our girls house, Anyone else have success with this?

My Little almost 6 week old Bean. She is an Easter Egger, and is much smaller than normal. Super sweet, but keeps up with the bigger girls. Any Idea or thoughts on Bean being smaller?

My 5 week old chicks going to bed tonight. It looks like they have weened themselves from the brooder plate. Although, I will say I catch one or two under there occasionally. Should I keep it in brooder box or remove it?
