Wow that would be absolutely amazing if you are right! I just checked my two broody hens no signs on them or thier nesting boxes! Praying it’s something else and easy to rid away
Wonder what these are and what I can do. I found them in the nesting box when gathering eggs. It seems to have come on so quickly as I have two broody hens and have been moving around eggs a lot lately. Really freaking out overw here! So many, mostly all in one nesting box.
Found these on an egg today. They are really gross and seem too uniform to be calcium deposits.

The bald spots are on both sides and have always been there.
I bought them from a local amish farm. The chicks I ordered that the bottom one may possibly be are Olive Egger, jersey Giant, mystic maran or black sex link.

Today I noticed these bald spots on her. My son said they have always been there. wondering if its a reason for concern. I dont see any feathers in the brooder and no others look like this. Thanks!
