Broody hen takes day off on day 18

Our broody hen has been on her eggs for 18 days. Today she decided to leave her eggs for many house and join back with the flock. This evening she decided to be broody again. Her eggs are now long cold as its been in the mid 40sF here today. Is there still a chance for the chicks? This is our first time having a broody hen. Thanks!

I have had a hen off for more than 8 hours and still hatch 10/10, but that was with the temps in the 60s. Not sure about how long they could go in the 40s. you could candle the eggs to look for movement.

She went back that evening and is still laying on them. Praying she is a good mom and follows through completely.
