    I don’t see any of the molting. I wonder if it was too hot this summer. It was brutally hot for a while. The weather is finally better now in the 80’s. That’s a good idea, I’ll leave the oysters out Thank You

    Need some advice! I have 5 hens and 1 rooster. They will be 30 weeks old on Wednesday. All are Rhode Island Reds. A couple of weeks ago 2 were laying eggs. Now it’s only 1. I’m giving them Grubbly Farms layer feed and giving them crushed oysters (which they don’t care for)

    I know this was from almost year ago but I’m dealing with the same issue. 7 mth old Rhode Island Reds, no eggs and I also live in Florida. When did they finally lay eggs?

    New to having chickens! Miami So far so good. I have 5 hens and 1 rooster. They are 28 weeks old, they look healthy but only 2 are laying. I just read that they need more hours of sunlight so I’m adjust the door to the coop opening to an earlier we time Looking forward to learning more...

    My 32 week old Rhode Island Reds not laying

    Hi! Mine are 28 weeks and only 2 are laying. Did you use the artificial light or did they finally start laying on their own?
