I don’t see any of the molting. I wonder if it was too hot this summer. It was brutally hot for a while. The weather is finally better now in the 80’s.

Need some advice! I have 5 hens and 1 rooster. They will be 30 weeks old on Wednesday.
All are Rhode Island Reds. A couple of weeks ago 2 were laying eggs. Now it’s only 1.
I’m giving them Grubbly Farms layer feed and giving them crushed oysters (which they don’t care for)
I know this was from almost year ago but I’m dealing with the same issue. 7 mth old Rhode Island Reds, no eggs and I also live in Florida.
When did they finally lay eggs?
New to having chickens! Miami So far so good. I have 5 hens and 1 rooster. They are 28 weeks old, they look healthy but only 2 are laying. I just read that they need more hours of sunlight so I’m adjust the door to the coop opening to an earlier we time
