2 of my 14 month old bsl are determined to sit. i praised them for their great mothering instinct, but explained that they have never known a rooster, so it was useless. when it was obvious that that wasn't going to do the trick, i looked here and found the great thread about the dog kennel...
with every page load at byc, at least ten of these show up in my recent pages list. i typically read a posting, then hit "back" to get back to the list of threads. starting yesterday, it takes 10 "backs" to get to the last real page i was at.
i follow several other forums, and it doesn't seem...
i hope to have a townline order next spring as i am only ~3 hours away. some ee would be great, but i've been wondering when you buy them from one hatchery, are they mostly the same family and mostly lay one color egg, or do you get a good variety of blue, green, pink eggs?
thanks folks, filled with water, the outside wall piece does seep out around the seam around the top.
i thought some silicon would fix it, but i decided to give tractor supply a try. sure enough, they replaced it. no receipt, and just my word as to how old it is. it wasn't even the manager who...

thanks!
there is www.scramlinfeeds.com in holly. they grow and mix their own layer feed, but don't have a pellet machine so only have crumble. my girls like it just fine but waste alot. he does sell a layer feed in pellet, but not that he grows himself.

thanks.
hey se michigan folk. i didn't know we had a local natural feed available to us. if holly is close enough, check out www.scramlinfeeds.com. my 15 girls seem to like it just fine after their whole (10 months) life with tsc dumour.
i come very close to filling a half gallon bucket every day when i scrape the poop board under my 17 girls.
i too have been wondering how my amount stacks up
my wife saw one of our first eggs hit the ground while the ladies were out free-ranging. all of them swarmed on it and devoured it. we had a problem. we were getting our first eggs out of the nest boxes untouched, but eggs that were laid in the coop, run, or out on the range were the chicken's...
