i'm with everyone else make it clear to the neighbours that it is now your duck, that you are providing and intend to continue providing a good home with pen, pond and mate and should they decide to try to remove it from your property it would be trespass and theft. good luck and enjoy your duck...
its a nice little coop for a couple of bantys but within a short period of time chicken math kicks in, its unavoidable they are addictive lol
personally i would buy/build a coop for min 6 hens that way you can add a few because you will want too.
today is a normal one nothing exciting happening, its windy and raining outside, my 6yr old grandson is sat at the table with paper pens scissors and sticky tape creating crafty stuff that only his imagination can identify, and it just got me thinking of just how much i have to be thankful for...
if i had the cash id buy it, ready built, NEW and delivered not to mention looking really nice. especially as while i know the theory of building sheds ect i have absolutly no talent for the pracical skills needed to do half as good a job as that

so sorry Kat but i know where you are coming from i'm the same, its one thing recognising and accepting its for the best its quite another doing it. My son in law takes care of that side of things for my daughter and for me.
Im a bit new at this colour thing, i get the lavenders and black etc but could someone please explain the difference between a splash and a paint silkie they look similar to me
