    After five days straight of nice big brown eggs, the girls took a few days off. Night before last, I got this round, marble-sized fairy egg and then last night a nice big brown normal egg. I guess they’re still getting regulated again, after fifteen months of sporadic eggs.

    Omg! First egg since a fairy egg on Sept 12. Found in the roost this morning, not in the nestbox, so it’s a bit dirty. I upped their layer feed to 22% when they started molting, and every night I toss out a few ounces of mealworms. I was very happy to see a nice egg this morning.

    2 today…one from th Banty hen and one from one of the big girls. I’m still guessing Flossy bc Buffy’s comb is still pink. But one of the recent eggs was bigger than anything Flossy laid before. Who knows?
