I have them in egg cartons w/ lots of poked holes. I was told pointy side down.......the air sac on pointy side is troubling for me. The chix is filling up almost half the egg inside...
They were shipped, took 6 days to get here, went into incubator 11 days ago. Candling them they are looking perfect inside except air sac is on the pointy side down??
Im the one who responded about putting the eggs (1st X for me) in egg cartons thru the inc process. Everywhere said pointy side down. Its been wonderful so far as the ease of turning them, so I can get the lid back on fast. Ive candled them and they are looking beautiful and even inside...
This idea intrigued me....I ordered 40 fertile eggs.....so I googled it and yes there were a few people that did this. One thing I did was poked holes on the bottom of each section to help w/ humidity from under the incubator. Also cut away everything except bottom of carton.. 40 eggs are a lot...
