I am in the exact same boat. This is my 3rd year having chickens now. First year I got 2 buffs and 2 barred rock, second year 2 speckled sussex, this year 2 EE's. I posted on here relentlessly when my older hens were chicks, so afraid that I had mistakenly got a rooster. People on this forum...

Females have combs too, just not as huge as males. I don't see anything particularly boyish about your EE chicks, but in a few weeks, you will have a better idea.
