    My rooster attacked my hen.

If I do get rid of my rooster, how will my hens cope? They have all grown up with each other and been by each other's side since they hatched.

Yeah I love him but it's something I'm starting to think of doing. I was going to separate the rooster from my hens. But I might get rid of him entirely

    My rooster attacked my hen.

Hi, so my rooster occasionally will peck at his girls and it's nothing serious and leaves no wounds. My hens wear saddle jackets to protect from my rooster. This morning the jacket got caught up in their perch and my rooster has gone and pecked at her and done some damage I brought her inside...

Trust the coop isn't small and my chickens do go into their coop in the day but spend a lot of there time outside. Also what time should I put them in the same coop. And I do have a smaller one I can put in the coop. Or do I just put them in the same coop and when? Thank you

    Integrated two flocks

Currently they are living free ranged all day in my backyard then at night they go into their coop from 7 to 7 in the morning. So they spend most of their time out of their coop.
