Thanks for the phone number Ducky, I was thinking about Kyneton but I assumed the pens would be full this close to the auction. Unfortunately most of my birds have gone into early moult from the stress I assume so are not looking their best now.

Hi all! Anyone affected by the floods? I feel so sorry for all those affected, it would be awful. We are very lucky the house is on a high spot, we had over 12" of rain in a week!

Well I have good news, bad news and interesting news.
Good news is I have more eggs in the incubator, going to candle the latest batch tonight to see how many are developing.
Interesting news is the double yolker is developing and was looking good last time I checked it.
Bad news is I lost...

I do belive a hatch or two back I moved someone off the coast of Rhode Island... Fear not, practice makes perfect and I've since put myself on without tossing anyone into the sea.
Update on my miracle babies, 5 are doing great.
Sadly I lost two chickies. One hadn't absorbed all it's yolk and the other the tiny weak chickie I had to help out of the egg. It was only about half the size of the others and never stopped peeping. I'm sad but I guess it wasn't meant to be...
Sadly none of your current possible combinations will produce sex links.
