This one belongs to my aunt, I am not sure of all the breeds that she has, but she has around 10 hens and I am pretty sure no roos, all of the hens have this same feather loss. Very confusing.

It appears that I have a few young roosters be housed together? Also at what age can they start fertilizing hens? I have some ameraucana's that hatched in January and a few just started crowing.
No, didn't help it. First time I have seen it though out of the few hatches that I have done. I have another one that hatched and it also has a small buldge in the butt, but not like the one pictured. Will it absorb the yolk?
No need to hurry, they can go without food and water for up to about 48 hours because the nutrients that they needed was provided by the egg yolk. Definitely wait until they are dry.
I am in MN and have had a few egg shipments this winter, sometime if you ask a seller they will include a heat pack. I have received one package with a heat pack and the rest with out. I have had a pretty good hatch considering they are shipped eggs.
