Red golden / yellow golden cross?

What do you get if you mix red golden and yellow golden? Roo to hen and hen to roo?

Good question. I have a Red Golden that threw a Golden roo. They have been separated for a year now. I have 9 eggs from the Red Golden, waiting for a few more before the hens sits. Will take me awhile before I can answer this one since I don't have the book answer for you. But there are others here who have a good handle on the genetics. You'll enjoy your RG's. Very stunning and everyone wants to see my Red Golden roo.

Red split to yellow, I think. The yellow color will get lighter after each generation, crossing back to red deepens the yellow.
