One of our baby chicks crop seems to be on the side and back of neck instead of the front? We just noticed it today... I felt it and the feathers are kind of gone that area. It feels like its full of food, not liquid. What would cause her crop to be there? Do I need to do anything?

Thank you!! That is what my hens have done. We put some new buckets in there on and laid them on their sides but so far the hens only want to use the floor. I just hope none of the other hens kill the babies.
