I was outside tending to my chicks today and noticed some "strange" scat (pebbles) on the ground. I was wondering if anyone out there knew what kind of animal leaves "coco-puff" sized droppings? Just want to make sure my boys & girls aren't being visited/stalked by something sinister...
Has anyone used shredded paper on the floor of their brooder box? Does it work well for composting as well? Has it worked for anyone? Just curious...we have an endless supply of shredded paper and didn't know if it could work. Thanks for the help!!
Does anyone know if it will harm the chickens if we paint the inside of the coop with a latex based paint? I have seen some people paint the inside of their coops and we have OSB so it NEEDS to be painted to protect it from any moisture. Does anyone know?? Can anyone help??
